If CarHaki cannot find any records for the chassis number you entered, we will refund your payment in full within 24 hours. No questions asked.
How quickly do I receive my report? +
Most reports are generated instantly — within 30 seconds of payment. For older vehicles or unusual chassis formats, it may take up to 5 minutes. You will receive an email notification when your report is ready.
Can I share the report with others? +
Yes. Every report has a unique shareable link that works for anyone — even without a CarHaki account. Perfect for sharing with family, mechanics, or insurance brokers.
Where does the data come from? +
CarHaki pulls data from Japan auction houses (USS, TAA, JAA, and 500+ others), MLIT (Japan's Ministry of Land and Transport), Japanese insurance records, and import/export databases.
Does CarHaki work for non-Japanese vehicles? +
CarHaki is optimised for ex-Japan vehicles, which account for over 90% of Uganda's used car imports. US-sourced vehicles (VIN format) are also supported through our NHTSA and VinAudit integration.
